Make a Customized Printout of GSSI Program Opportunities

Did you know that you can make a customized printout of GSSI Program Opportunities? 

Here’s how: 

First, log into EBiz. From there, click the “Activities” button at the top. There you will see all of the available search criteria on the left side of the page, which include grade level, activity category, date, geographic area, etc. You can select as many options as you want; the more options you select, the more specific your results will be. 

Once your program listing is generated, you can click on any of the programs to get more details and/or register online. Also, if you would like to sit down with your troop and look through what is available, simply click the “Print” icon at the top of the page (under the green bar) to get a printout of your search results. If you have a .pdf printer (free versions can be found online), you can create digital copies to be e-mailed or shared through social media. 

Be aware, however, that program details may be updated after you make a printed copy. Always check GSSI’s online program calendar for the most up-to-date program information.

eBiz Important Update for End of Girl Scout Year

 

 

Please be reminded that the current Girl Scout Membership year ends on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Midnight ET.  

This means that online membership registrations for Troop Leaders renewing 2016 proformas through Troop Management should be concluded before Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 11:59 PM ET.

• On Wednesday 9/30, when Troop Leaders click on the ‘My Troops’ tab in eBiz, a specialized maintenance page will appear that only affects troop management.
• Troop Leaders will not have access to their troop(s) in eBiz for the full day on Wednesday.  
• eBiz websites will remain up and Personify will not experience any downtime.
• Active 2016 Troop Leaders will be able to access their troop(s) on Thursday, October 1, 2015 and will see all active 2016 troop members.
• Family Managers will be unaffected and will continue to see their family members.

GSSI Program Registration Updates: Fall 2014

Important Information -- The Registration Process Has Changed!

Register online using eBiz

Starting December 1, 2014 the preferred method for registering for council programs and trainings is online. eBiz is a great tool that allows volunteers and parents to purchase memberships online as well as sign up for GSSI programs and trainings!

 

 

Benefits to signing up using eBiz:

You can search for activities by Girl Scout grade level, event focus, date and geographic location.

eBiz listings contain the most up-to-date information on programs and trainings. If there have been any changes regarding date, location, time, etc., those changes will be reflected.

Programs and trainings added throughout the year will be reflected on eBiz.

Capacity information reflects the number of openings left for each event so you see immediately if there are enough spaces to accommodate an individual girl or multiple girls in your troop.

After completing the purchase online, you receive an e-mail confi rmation verifying your purchase.

 No need to complete paper forms!

IMPORTANT!  REGISTER EARLY! Nothing cancels a program quicker than waiting until the last minute to register! At some point, program staff must determine if an event has met the minimum
number of participants. Slow-filling events may be cancelled due to low enrollment.


Registration Policies


Deadline means DEADLINE! eBiz operates on Eastern Time, so the deadline to register for events is 10:59:59 p.m. central time on the deadline date. Once the event cannot be purchased on eBiz, no more registrations will be accepted. Deadlines will be enforced. The time between the deadline and the day of the event is used to provide registrant numbers to collaborators, order and receive supplies and make other necessary preparations for a successful event.

In some cases, deadlines may be extended by GSSI

Events not meeting the minimum number of participants will be cancelled.

 

GSSI cannot accept registrations for participants after the deadline or beyond the capacity.


In case of cancellation or event change, you will be notifi ed as soon as possible.

Refunds will be made up to the deadline date. After the deadline date, money will NOT be refunded unless GSSI cancels the event.

If a registrant cannot attend a program, another registered girl in the same grade level may take her place. Please notify the program registrar at programregistrations@gsofsi.org of the change in advance. Provide the name of the person unable to attend and the name & complete address of the replacement. Only girls may be substituted for girls and adults may be substituted for adults.

Refunds will not be given out for girls who do not attend programs or trainings for which they are registered. GIRLS WHO DO NOT ATTEND A PROGRAM OR TRAINING WILL NOT RECEIVE MATERIALS, INCLUDING PATCHES OR AWARDS.


Register Using Paper Forms

The paper form reflects all the information we need to process each order. Registration staff may return incomplete forms to you for missing information.

 Forms received without payment will not be processed.

 Paper forms will be processed during council’s normal business hours. They are processed in the order they are received and as space allows. A completed online registration immediately holds the spot and may be purchased any time before the deadline.

The paper registration form may be found in the Forms & Library section of www.gsofsi.org. The form is fillable, so you can type directly into it. This section of the website contains all the forms related to membership registration, program registration, financial assistance, training registration, etc. If you are unable to locate the necessary forms, please contact us.

Register Online through EBiz through June 30 for Early Bird Incentives

INCENTIVES. INCENTIVES. INCENTIVES!  

We are extending Early Bird re-registration incentives!  Choose the incentive that works best for your girl, troop and leaders and then be sure to re-register within the dates listed below!  

Register online on or before June 30, 2014 and become eligible to receive the following incentives: 

TROOP

FREE Early Bird Patch if you meet all of the following criteria:  

Turn in your Membership Registrations to your Service Unit Registrar on or before June 30, 2014 at 5 p.m.

Re-register on-line at least 50% of current girls (if you lose a girl, you can recruit/add a new girl and receive the same benefits if done during this period only)

Register on-line at least 5 girls and 2 adults

Have no product program sale debt (troop, leader or parent).  NOTE: Troops still qualify if debt is paid before Early Bird deadline.  

NOTE:  If requesting Financial Assistance, a paper registration must be submitted for processing.

TROOP

Earn entry into a drawing for one of 2 (two) Complementary GSSI Vouchers (can be used for GSSI programs, store, training, camp and any GSSI option) valued at $50 each.  

LEADERS

Primary (01) Troop Leader receives FREE registration ($15 value) (You must re-register a minimum of 85% of your troop and 2 adults) 

NOTE:  To receive this incentive, you must submit an Ebiz receipt confirming you met the above criteria with your registration for a 

free troop leader.

SERVICE UNITS

GSSI Voucher (good for any GSSI program or for GSSI shop) if you meet the following criteria:

Service Units with 45-49% re-registered girls will receive $50 GSSI all council voucher!!!

Service Units with 50-69% re-registered girls will receive $100 GSSI all council voucher!!!

Service Unitswith 70-89% re-registered girls will receive $150 GSSI all council voucher!!!

Service Units with 90% and above re-registered girls will receive $200 GSSI all council voucher!!! AND choice of 1 of 3 Cookie Costumes (Trefoil, Samoa and Thin Mint) for Cookie Rally or other GSSI events!!!!
