Valerie Clark from Willow Hill has received the Honor Pin for her volunteer service with Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois. The Honor Pin recognizes an individual’s exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE), which has had measurable impact on two or more geographic areas of service, allowing the council to reach and surpass its mission-delivery goals.
“The girls have learned crocheting,
book making, sewing, just about
anything. Valerie’s generosity has truly
proven to be the core of what we stand
for in Girl Scouts," said fellow volunteer Sarah Bohnhoff.
